Farm House near Sirsa

Image
This farmhouse located in grassroots rural India near Sirsa, Haryana, shows how good design can harmonize timeless aesthetics with rural practicality.  The ground floor is designed as a vibrant entertainment space with a caretaker’s room and a generously shaded verandah that not only provides relief from the harsh sun but also serves as a multi functional space for resting, gathering, and managing farming activities.  The first floor houses the private living quarters, elevated for privacy and optimal ventilation. Farm House

A victorian style farmhouse  Location: A village near New Chandigarh Typology – Steel roof frame supported on a concrete skeleton. Prefabrication is at the core of our construction strategy, and the project management ties it all together. While the visual language of the home harks back to a bygone era, the construction process is anything but traditional. The entire structure is a concrete frame with a steel framed roof ontop - assembled with maximum efficiency.  Using such techniques allows us to deliver timeless architecture with modern efficiencies. Especially in remote or environmentally sensitive sites, prefab methods reduce environmental impact and allow greater flexibility in design without compromising durability or aesthetics. Internally, the farmhouse is designed with simplicity and elegance. It has large 16’0” deep verandahs. Architecture is not just about shelter—it’s about shaping experiences, values, and future narratives. Projects like this farmhouse allow us ...

Farm House

Location: A Village near New Chandigarh A sweeping 270° (or more) view—interrupted only by a lone tree across the road. That’s what this elevated site offers. It’s also why a special viewing deck was added on the first floor, positioned above the Living-Dining area below. To the northeast lie fields that change with the seasons, bordered by a forest. It’s truly idyllic—this setting was the only and ultimate reason behind the choice of location. A typical slice of Punjab, where you hear the kooh kooh of water pumps and the calming chants from two nearby gurudwaras. The gentle sounds of rural life waking up all around create an atmosphere of complete serenity. And yet—just a few kilometers away, as the crow flies—is a modern food court with your usual suspects: Barista, McDonald's, and more, nestled in a high-rise tower. You could easily give Gen Z directions to your home using that landmark (or, of course, Google Maps). A short drive brings you to a village that covers your daily ne...

Prefabricated House - Single Storey

Image
This is just one of the many possible forms — that can be created to design a truly unique cottage for yourselves, anywhere in the world. We're envisioning a single bedroom cottage that is in harmony with its surroundings and operates autonomously—powered by solar energy for heating, cooling, lighting, and possibly even cooking. Imagine solar cookers integrated into the south-facing walls, alongside solar water purification systems. Add to that small wind turbines generating electricity to charge storage batteries—perfect for running built-in security systems. Dedicated solar panels could also be used to pump water for daily use. The structure itself would be well-insulated, and the entire cottage would be a CKD (completely knock-down) design—engineered for portability. All you’d need is a foundation in a beautiful location with a great view… and you’re all set. So—what do you think? House in Srinagar with prefabricated components

Image
Architectural Design of a House in Srinagar Next to a Rail Track This modern house in Srinagar, designed with sustainability and efficiency in mind, stands on a relatively flat piece of land adjacent to a rail track. The structure employs a concrete frame, upon which prefabricated components are assembled. Notably, the roof structure is entirely prefabricated, ensuring a streamlined construction process. Sustainable and Energy-Efficient Design Environmental sustainability is a core principle of this house's design. The exterior walls utilize sandwich panels with insulation, significantly enhancing energy efficiency. These panels are strategically wrapped around the exterior of the reinforced concrete columns. This design choice prevents the columns from becoming thermal bridges, which could otherwise result in heat loss from the interior of the house. The roof structure is designed with insulated Polyurethane Foam (PUF) panels, contributing to superior thermal performance. The...

Location: Sector 9, Chandigarh Construction: completed March 2019 Prefab Living Room Extension with Kitchen Our recent architectural endeavor marries pragmatism with sophistication in a living room extension crafted through prefabrication. Veena Cottage

Image
Location: H.No. 805, DLF Hyde Park, New Chandigarh, Punjab The brief was to make a small cottage (the client’s dream) – which could both stand out and be put on rent. The character was agreed for a Mediterranean look – with tiled roofs and lots of greenery & vines. WE ACHIEVED BOTH – at the price of less than her SUV – considering that the gates and the boundary wall were included.
